Wynne Construction worked in partnership with Denbighshire County Council to develop a three storey classroom facility, which would provide a high quality environment for teachers and students alike at Brynhyfryd School, Ruthin, and which would have a positive impact on the whole school.

The steel-frame construction is extremely energy efficient, incorporating under-floor heating, external Cedar cladding with insulated masonry and render panels, and photovoltaic cells on the roof. It provides twenty classrooms, departmental offices and toilet facilities.

Our team worked closely with the Local Authority and our engineering expertise enabled financial targets to be met, whilst accommodating our clients’ exact requirements. Our attention to detail, innovation and application of resources were vital to the success of this partnered scheme.
