The refurbishment of Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl, a substantial site of Coleg Llandrillo, serving the heart of Rhyl and its surrounding areas has provided Wynne Construction with one of its most ambitious projects to date.

The state-of-the-art facilities include a new two storey Construction SkillsWorkshop, a massage/therapy department, a hairdressing and nail suite, new student support facilities, a new coffee shop, a refurbished restaurant, the relocation of the gas training centre to the campus, new learning and support areas and upgraded student facilities along with the complete transformation of the front elevations of the college.

The £4.8 million project and investment by Coleg Llandrillo and theWelsh Assembly Government’s Department for Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills, will bring new training opportunities, particularly with the national drive for the 14-19 years agenda, as well as the creation of several new jobs in the area. This investment has subsequently provided a massive boost to the ongoing regeneration plans for Rhyl and for establishing the College as a hub of learning for the whole of North Denbighshire.
