- The closure of the three existing special schools:
- Ysgol Belmont
- Ysgol Delyn
- Ysgol-y-Bryn
- The building of a new primary special school attached to Ysgol Gwynedd for primary age pupils; 2-11 years.
- When the new schools open in September 2009, Ysgol Belmont Infants at Mold will become the new Early Years Assessment Centre.
- The building of a new secondary special school attached to Flint High for secondary age pupils; 11 - 19 years.
This website will be updated regularly with information from Flintshire County Council, the head teachers, the Specialist Schools project manager and of course progress from the construction sites for the new buildings.
