Rhyl Sixth : Work Experience
Wynne Construction over the past three years have provided work experience to construction apprentices working at both Llandrillo and Rhyl campuses.
This benefits the students, enabling them to get hands-on experience working on Coleg Llandrillo schemes and ensuring that their education is co-ordinated with their "on the job" work practice. Pictured is a student working on the Rhyl Sixth Centre, learning the techniques of installing a single ply roofing membrane to the new building.
Overall the Rhyl Sixth Centre project is progressing well and on schedule for completion at the beginning of August 2010. During April, the building will be "weather tight" and work will progress onto the internal aspects such as mechanical and electrical, internal partitions, plastering and first fix joinery.
