St David's Hospice
Wynne Construction was awarded the latest development and refurbishment project by St David's Hospice of Llandudno. Funded through the Hospice's Helping Hands appeal, this project involved improving accommodation and facilities for the relatives, patients, visitors and staff to the hospice.
Work began in February 2012 and involved the remodelling and refurbishment of the existing hospice with a new extension and the upgrading of the existing facilities to provide a total of fourteen single occupancy bedrooms. The project also included enhancing the education and training facilities by creating a versatile open-plan space.
Mindful of the special environment in which they are working Wynne Construction ensured that there was close co-operation between the site management team, the hospice and the local community so as to enable the hospice to function on a day-to-day basis without any disruption and to ensure the complete safety of the public.
