RoSPA Gold Award 2009 For the third consecutive year Wynne Construction is able to celebrate winning one of the prestigious RoSPA occupational health and safety awards. A 2009 GOLD award was presented by RoSPA Vice President Lord Brougham and Vaux, to Chris Wynne, Managing Director of Wynne Construction at a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on 13th May.

David Rawlins, RoSPA Awards Manager, said: "Wynne Construction has yet again shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others. Entering the RoSPA Awards reinforces the message that good health and safety is good for business and clearly demonstrates an organisation's dedication to improving performance in this crucial area."

Chris Wynne, Managing Director said: "We are delighted to have won this award for a third time and to receive recognition with a RoSPA Gold award. The issue of health and safety should be crucial to every construction firm: winning this award is a testament to our company's Health & Safety ethos and to the commitment of all our staff who place health and safety high on the list of priorities for every project."

The RoSPA occupational health and safety awards are sponsored by NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), the leading health and safety professional examining body.

This latest award follows a number of notable successes this year for Wynne Construction including The Business Development Award 2009 from ConstructionSkills Wales and the Local Authority Building Control Award for Ysgol Y Graig on Anglesey.
